FIRE IN MY BELLY
WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT IN THIS VIDEO!!!!
Peep this HIGHLY controversial video art piece that was removed from HIDE/SEEK exhibition because it was offensive to some Christians...
"the Smithsonian would never have their little ants crawling all over an image of Muhammad."-Catholic League President Bill Donohue
It was later found that the video was meant to inspire AIDS awareness and prevention.
ART: ARMSTROCK's "NOCTURNE ON A DRAINPIPE FLUTE"
Infamous street artist Armstruck is back at it again with a new exhibit opening, entitled "NOCTURNE ON A DRAINPIPE FLUTE," in Denmark on December 10th, at Wonderland Art Space in Copenhagen.

Art: Jason Bryant and his exhibit "Trilogy"
From Juxtapoz.com:
"Trilogy is a continuation and further exploration of Jason Bryant's fascination with film, skateboarding culture and the presentation of the self. This show, opening Thursday, is composed of eight large-scale paintings, showcases his signature photorealistic style through aggressive compositional cropping and the uniform editing out of a subject's eyes with technical refinement."

“Everything has a purpose and Titi's vision is sharp and clear. The gallery was packed with family, friends, admirers, collectors, and media. The use of the gallery space including some empty space and benches to sit allows for the visitors/viewers to contemplate his art without distractions. This is Titi's best show ever and it was a privilege to see it in person.”

Appreciating Art: Swoon
Swoon, 31, female graffiti artist based in New York City focuses on creating life-sized, cut-out, wheat paste prints and paper cutouts of figures inspired by people in her life. Swoon isn't her government name... she's avoiding prosecution for vandalism crimes associated with her street art.

Appreciating Art: Kyla Paolucci
"I attempt to represent the internal nature of a being by external means, whether it be through grotesque figures or abstract mark-making."- Kyla Paolucci
Though her work is an artistic manifestation of her own experience, she hopes others will find comfort in it, too: "Very influenced by suffering life as well as all of life's kicks." She uses materials that are inexpensive or free and plays with multiple mediums that partner with color choice. There is a playful and juvenile quality to her work that acquires sophistication in its own nature. "It is about searching for the unconscious mind, finding the balance between the internal and the external, and trusting the self." Check out a few of her pieces and stay on the look out for more!
